Synopsis

The great battle between the Ji clan and the local Snowdragon Mountain branch had finally come to an end. The Ji clan had won a great victory, albeit not without casualties – Yichuan, the father of Ning, had perished, something Ning would neither forgive nor forget. The main Snowdragon Mountain clan was also of a mind to avenge this loss, but everything changed upon the arrival of an envoy from Northmont clan, the rulers of the entire Stillwater Commandery. Swallow Mountain and Snowdragon Mountain alike paid fealty to them. With the Marquis of Stillwater now standing firmly behind the Ji clan, the great conflict was finally brought to an end – for now.

Fortune is often birthed from disaster. The young master of the Northmont clan had been quite impressed by Ji Ning’s performance, and had extended an invitation for him to visit in Stillwater City, the capital of the entire region. This was an invitation that Ning was of a mind to accept.

Ning was determined to gain vengeance for his parents, but to do that he needed to grow stronger, and there was no greater gathering of powerful organizations than Stillwater City. It was home to some of the most famous clans and sects. There was the Skysplitter Sect, the Thousand Rivers sect, the Dragonhunters, and more, but one school stood head and shoulders above the rest – the Black-White College.
